What we do....

Advising

External advice can help in many situations in pharmacy practice. Where to go, what to do, where and how to focus the organisation; but also how to approach clients, how to provide care, how to motivate staff. Our experiences will help you.

Dr. van Mil has lead a community pharmacy for more than 25 years, and therefore is very familiar with all aspects of managing a pharmacy.

Writing & editing

A different field is that of scientific publication, where we may help you to edit a journal. We can also rewrite and edit your paper for it to be accepted in respectable journals.

Practice Research

Conducting quantitative practice research is one of our activities. We have many contacts in universities internationally, and can therefore always find appropriate partners for the research that you want to have conducted.

Teaching

Teaching pharmacists, or assistant pharmacists, is a regular part of our activities. Most teaching is interactive, and small group discussions and role plays can be part of it.

Topics may include quality management, change management, applied practice research, but also scientific writing and editing or clinical pharmacology/pharmacotherapeutics.

Our costs? (Rates January 2009)

In general our consultancy activities cost 100-150 Euro per hour (excl. VAT, incl. national travels), depending on the assignment, needed expertise, duration, and characteristics of the project or the client. For international activities or non profit organisations special rates may apply.

Locum work only as responsible pharmacist ('beheerder'). Salary 6500 Euro/month, for 4 working days of approx. 9-10 hours. Travel cost refund and pension-fund costs to be added.
If we are asked for periods > 2 weeks, we can be available for 5 days per week.
If requested, we can provide an evaluation report of the pharmacy, after the locum period ends.
If further than 80 km from Zuidlaren, accommodation with Internet access has to be provided.
If our colleague-advisors from other consultancies are called upon, they may apply their own rates.
